There's micro studs in the clip wich make it EXTRA HOLD PROOF. 

 Will also hold any lengh and type of hair.

This collection is not meant to put under water or extreme heat. 

Discoloration inside the clip is normal and expected due to the painting

 bumps on the side of the clips are also normal due to the formulation.
